Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center

Commandant's Staff

The Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center (ACPDC) is named in honor of CPT Carl Robert Arvin, Class of 1965. He was First Captain, wrestling team captain, and a Rhodes Scholarship finalist. CPT Arvin was killed during his second tour in Vietnam. He was awarded two Silver Stars for gallantry.

The ACPDC contains the following facilities:

  • Two swimming pools 
  • Combat water survival lab
  • Six racquetball courts 
  • Two boxing rooms with four boxing rings 
  • Wrestling room 
  • Rock climbing wall
  • Center for Physical Development Excellence (CPDE)
  • Sports Medicine Complex (DPE, DIA, Cadet PT)
