CPT Breona Moses is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She commissioned through Winston-Salem State University and entered active duty in May 2015.
She attended the Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, in July 2015 and graduated as an adjutant general officer. In August 2019, she completed the Adjutant General Captains Career Course, also at Fort Jackson. Her previous assignments include serving as the squadron adjutant for the Regimental Engineer Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, from September 2019 through April 2022; the battalion adjutant for the 2nd Battalion, 47th Infantry Regiment, at Fort Benning, Georgia, from August 2016 through January 2019; and the brigade officer strength manager for the 194th Armored Brigade from February through July 2016.
After earning a Master of Science degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2023, CPT Moses moved to West Point, New York, where she currently resides. She serves as an instructor in the Department of Physical Education at the U.S. Military Academy. She is married to her wife, Taylor Moses, and they have a daughter, Emery, and a son, Elias.
