CPT Christian Carrasco is from Lake Orion, MI, and began his military service while attending USMAPS in 2010. Upon graduation from USMAPS, he attended the United States Military Academy and graduated with the class of 2015 earning his commission as an Armor Officer. After completing troop command, CPT Carrasco was accepted into the Eisenhower Leader Development Program and attended Teachers College, Columbia University, where he graduated with a master's in organizational psychology.
CPT Carrasco’s assignments in the military include Fort Cavazos, TX, where he served as a Scout Platoon Leader, Mobile Gun System Platoon Leader, Regimental Weapons Troop Executive Officer, and Cavalry Troop Executive Officer. After graduating from the Maneuver Captains Career Course, CPT Carrasco returned to Fort Cavazos with 1ABCT, 1CD. After serving as the Brigade Maneuver Planner, CPT Carrasco assumed command of C TRP, 1-7 CAV in the Division Cavalry Squadron.
His deployments include Jalalabad, Afghanistan (2016-17) and Northern Iraq (2018-19)
