Connor joined the PANE team in the beginning of 2021 as a Physical Science Technician. He has a background in physics, obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Physics from Rutgers University in 2018. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a Demonstration Assistant, helping construct and prepare physics demonstrations. He also performed physics showcases for events and nearby schools. After graduation Connor worked for Rutgers University Cell and DNA Repository. Here, he performed DNA and RNA extraction, high throughput plasma isolation and purification, and blood fractionation. He was involved in the development of the non-invasive saliva testing method for COVID-19 and oversaw the viral-RNA extraction and the team completing it. In his free time, Connor loves playing and coaching ice hockey and enjoys hiking.
