Daniel commissioned as a Field Artillery officer from the United States Military Academy in 2006, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has 9 combat deployments and served in the 75th Ranger Regiment for 5 years. Daniel has been an FA58 since 2020, and currently serves as the functional area's Proponent. He enjoys writing fiction, and rowing (both as a coach at USMA, and as an oarsman with a local Master's program.)
