Dr. Carolann Koleci earned her Ph.D. in physics education from Brown University. At Brown, she also earned two master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and physics, respectively. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University at Albany, State University of New York, where she earned the Bachelor of Science in physics (Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, Barry Goldwater Scholar).

Dr. Koleci has experience teaching a range of STEM courses and has been a part of the teaching faculty at Harvard University, College of the Holy Cross, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

In addition to having a passion for all things STEM, Dr. Koleci is also a musician who enjoys volleyball, running (especially long distance; as of April 3, 2025: six-time marathoner, four-time Boston Qualifier), hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.
