COL Christopher “Chris” Mayer is an associate professor and director of the Philosophy Division in the Department of Law and Philosophy at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.

He has served in quartermaster and force management assignments at Fort Campbell, Japan, Fort Monroe and Iraq. COL Mayer also served in the Department of Defense’s Office of Military Professionalism.
