MAJ Derrick Hall is an instructor in the Department of Chemical & Biological Science & Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA), where he teaches general chemistry.
Upon graduating from USMA in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, he commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Military Intelligence Corps. He then attended Purdue University as a GEM Fellow to obtain a master's degree in chemistry.
MAJ Hall has served in several intelligence officer positions, spanning from battalion S-2 in a brigade combat team to intelligence planner in an Army Service Component Command G-2 Directorate.
