Mr. Ian Kloo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary in 2011 and a master’s degree in policy analytics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014. Following his graduate studies, he was awarded the Presidential Management Fellowship, which allowed him to work on data science projects throughout the Department of Defense enterprise and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

During this time, Ian focused on deploying modern analytics to counter-threat finance challenges and contributed to a successful multi-agency effort to financially degrade terror networks. His current research focuses on applying emerging analytic methodologies to problems in the intelligence and special operations communities. Recent domains include simulation, natural language processing, entity resolution, and machine vision.

Ian and his wife, Nora, are parents to three-year-old twins.
