Mrs. Katelyn J. Smith

Katelyn (Katie Jo) Smith joined the United States Military School Preparatory School (USMAPS) as an English instructor in December 2022. She also sponsors the yearbook club and social media team.

Mrs. Smith holds a master’s degree in English and a bachelor’s degree in secondary English language arts education, both from Auburn University in Alabama.

Prior to joining USMAPS, she taught secondary English and worked as a program manager for nontraditional education at a Virginia high school. Mrs. Smith is an avid reader and enjoys watching movies and sports, especially Auburn football.
