MAJ Nina Fiore

MAJ Nina Fiore is an instructor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York.

After commissioning from USMA in 2013, she attended flight school at Fort Novosel, Alabama, where she earned qualifications in the AH-64D and AH-64E Apache helicopter. She completed her platoon leader time with C Troop, 4-6 CAV, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington, including deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel and Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. 

After redeploying, she returned to Fort Novosel to complete the Captain's Career Course before permanent change of station to Fort Bliss, Texas, where she served in the 1AD Combat Aviation Brigade as brigade AS3. She assumed command of HHT, 3-6 ACS, in Afghanistan supporting Operation Freedom's Sentinel, and upon redeployment assumed command of D Troop, 3-6 ACS. 

Post-command, MAJ Fiore attended graduate school at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned a Master of Science in data science. She is also a recipient of the 2024 Omar N. Bradley Fellowship for research in mathematical sciences at USMA.
