Mr. MacIntosh is a GIS specialist and geographer with professional experience as a GIS and remote sensing analyst. Originally from Rhode Island, he began his academic career in archaeology and classics before his interest in spatial relationships and natural resource conservation led him to pursue a master’s degree in geography with a focus in GIS.

After graduate school, Mr. MacIntosh worked for Ceres Imaging in Oakland, California, where he applied GIS and remote sensing technologies to support agricultural land management practices.

His research interests include aerial image acquisition and analysis, Python programming for GIS automation, vegetation mapping, and conservation science. He is also a certified 14 CFR Part 107 remote pilot.
