Dr. Emine C. Foust is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the United States Military Academy, West Point. She earned her Master of Science and Ph.D degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. In 2008, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Mechanical Engineering Department at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to West Point, Dr. Foust worked as an Associate Professor at York College of PA for 14 years. She has extensive teaching experience in the areas of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, dynamics, system modeling, and energy systems. At York College of PA, Dr. Foust supervised industry-driven and community-based student research projects. Examples of these projects include a ram pump museum display, a vertical axis river turbine self-start problem, the design of a cooling system for injection molding machines, and the installation of instrumentation on a test bench for a jet engine.
