Office of the Chief of Staff

The G8 is responsible for directing, overseeing, and coordinating all activities necessary to obtain and manage the force structure and resources required to educate, train, and commission leaders of character for the U.S. Army, and to support the academy's vision to be the preeminent leader development institution in the world.

The G8 comprises several offices:

  • Budget Analysis and Execution Division: Provides customer service support and oversight in the fiscal year of execution and provides funds control.
  • Program and Manpower Management Division: Provides customer service support and oversight of the budget build, program objective memorandum and Table of Distribution and Allowances.
  • Financial Operations and Systems Division: Provides customer service support and access to financial management systems and accounting functions.
