MAJ Jake Lueders is an Operations Research and Systems Analyst (FA49), prior Engineer Officer, and Senior Instructor in the Department of Systems Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University, a Master of Science (SM) in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Washington. MAJ Lueders commissioned as an Engineer Officer in 2012. He served as a platoon leader and company executive officer with Alpha Company, 4th STB, 4th IBCT which reflagged to 52nd BEB, 2nd IBCT, under the 4th Infantry Division, at Fort Carson, CO and completed a tour in Afghanistan. He then served with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as a project engineer with Seattle District in Seattle, WA. Following the Engineer Captain’s Career Course, he served as an assistant operations officer with the 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power) in Fort Belvoir, VA, and commanded Bravo Company, 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power) in Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), NC. Jake is married to Maria, and they have a son and daughter
