
Prof. Jon Malinowski

Geography and Environmental Engineering
Jon is a human geographer who has taught at the United States Military Academy since 1995. His research interests include the West Point landscape and behavioral geography. He is the author of the "The West Point Landscape: 1802–1860," numerous journal articles, and the co-author of several other books.
A graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown, he earned master's and doctoral degrees from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He is a founding member of the Dirt Band.
