
CPT Day graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences and Arabic from USMA in 2015 and commissioned as an Infantry Officer. He served as a Rifle Platoon Leader, Battalion Mortar Platoon Leader, and Battalion S-3 Air Operations officer for 1-501 IN (ABN) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. Upon completing the Maneuver Captain's Career Course, CPT Day served as the Rifle Company Commander for A Company, 2-505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne at Fort Liberty, NC. After completing company command, CPT Day attended the University of Michigan earning a Master of Science in Applied Statistics. He currently serves as an instructor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
