Maj Jose M. Rojas Levano is a Peruvian Army military officer, administrator, and educator, with an honorable military career and demonstrated exemplary international experience. He began his academic journey at the prestigious "Escuela Militar de Chorrillos" in Lima, Peru, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in military sciences (2007–2010). He later complemented his military education with a bachelor's degree in administration from the "Universidad Nacional San Agustin" in Arequipa, Peru (2010–2011).

A dedicated linguist, Maj Rojas has achieved advanced proficiency in English and French, in addition to his native language, Spanish. His linguistic training includes advanced English, along with specialized pedagogy courses at the Defense Language Institute in Texas. In addition, he attended language programs in Canada where he attained advanced French level certification.

Throughout his career, Maj Rojas has held critical roles in the Peruvian Army, from 2011 to 2013, he served as a Human Resources Officer before transitioning to a Logistics Officer and instructor of the multi rocket launcher systems unit (2014–2018). His international tenure includes serving as a United Nations Military Observer in the Democratic Republic of Congo (2019–2020). Returning to Peru, Rojas was appointed as a company commander from 2021 to 2022, until assigned as the 31st Infantry Brigade Budget Officer (2022–2023).

Maj Rojas military awards include: the United Nations Medal (MONUSCO) for his contributions at the UN, and the “Espada de Honor” (Sword of Honor) for graduating first in his class at the “Escuela Militar de Chorrillos”. He has also been honored with two additional academic medals by the Peruvian Army, reflecting his commitment to excellence and service.
