Dr. Kevin McMullen, Ph.D.

Dr. Kevin F. McMullen is an associate professor. He received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and Doctorate in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut. Dr. McMullen has taught courses in structural mechanics and structural design, and his research focuses on structural engineering.

Before arriving at the academy, Dr. McMullen’s research centered on evaluating and implementing innovative materials and technologies to develop more sustainable and cost-effective solutions for infrastructure challenges. At the academy, he has worked with cadets to develop novel designs to improve the blast resistance of structures.
