Current Research
LTC Fallot is a medicinal chemist interested in developing small molecules targeting G protein-coupled receptors to treat disease. This work entails the design and synthesis of libraries of a small compound, characterizing their structure-activity relationships through in vitro binding and functional assays, determining their pharmacokinetic parameters, and testing their effectiveness using an applicable disease model. He utilizes a multi-disciplinary, team-of-teams approach to pre-clinical drug discovery.
