COL Mark D. Federovich

COL Federovich is a native of Fort Rucker, AL, and commissioned from George Washington University in 19997 where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs. He also holds a Master's Degree in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. 

COL Federovich’s formative assignments include Commander B/1-6 Infantry, Operations Officer 506th Infantry Regiment, Commander 1-4th 0Cavalry Squadron, Operations Officer 25th Infantry Division, and Commander 187 Infantry Regiment (Rakkasan). He was also a Task Force Senior Maneuver OCT at JRTC, Task Force Senior OCT at NTC, and Director of the J3 Staff at INDOPACOM.  

COL Federovich has deployed across the spectrum of military operations to Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His military education includes the NATO Defense College (USAWC Fellow), the Command and General Staff Officers Course, Advanced Airborne School (Jumpmaster), and Ranger School. His awards include the Combat Infantry’s Badge, Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart. 

COL Federovich is married to Carla Federovich. They have been married for 26 years and have two children Robert (18) and Kate (16).
