Matthew Revels is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2013 with a B.S. in Defense and Strategic Studies and commissioned as an Armor officer. MAJ Revels served in a variety of positions from platoon leader to company commander at Fort Carson, CO and Fort Hood, TX. Prior to attending graduate school, he served as an observer, coach, and trainer at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, CA. In 2023, he graduated from Georgetown University's Security Studies Program, concentrating in U.S. National Security Policy. MAJ Revels and his wife Jacky, a native of Houston, TX, have a one-year old daughter, Sofia.
