Office of the Inspector General (IG)

The mission of the USMA Inspector General is to inquire into and periodically report on matters affecting mission performance and the state of discipline, efficiency, morale, economy, readiness, and esprit-de-corps of the West Point community (includes USMA, U.S. Army Garrison - West Point, US Army Garrison - Fort Hamilton, and tenant units) and to perform other duties as may be required by law and regulation or directed by the Superintendent.

Before You Tell the Inspector General

To complain without fear of reprisal is the right of any soldier, civilian, or family member seeking IG help. After all, problem-solving is one of the IG's primary missions.
