Hunter Branham is a native of Hagerstown, MD. Hunter enlisted in the Maryland Army National Guard qualifying as an 11B, Infantrymen before attending the United States Military Academy. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2015 with a B.S. in Kinesiology and commissioned as an Infantry officer. After completing Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course (IBOLC), he served as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer with 2 Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division. Following Maneuver Captains Career Course, CPT Branham served as a Lieutenant Career Manager for Infantry Branch, HRC and was then assigned to Command Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).  After company command, Hunter graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Science in Kinesiology. CPT Branham has been married to his wife Alison since 2017, and they share three children: Grant (5), Josie (5), and Shepherd (2).
