MSG(P) Patrick Reichardt

Master Sergeant (P) (German Hauptfeldwebel (HptFw)) Patrick Reichardt was born on 29 July 1988 and is a native of Boostedt, a small village about 50km north of Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He fully enlisted into the German Army on 1 October 2008 as a reconnaissance soldier.

MSG Reichardt has served in nearly all common leadership positions of vehicle born reconnaissance (cavalry scout) from driver of the recon-vehicle “FENNEK” to recon-patrol-leader. His last (German) assignment was with IV.Inspektion Heeresaufklärungsschule MUNSTER where he served as Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Head Instructor for “Leichte Aufklärungskräfte” (LRS).

His overseas deployments include the Netherlands (Chinook Helicopter Basic Training), Austria (Alpine Warfare and Reconnaissance), Poland, and Mongolia. He has deployed for combat and peacekeeping missions to Africa (All Sources Information Fusion Unit (ASIFU) - Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), Mali) and Mongolia (Operational Mentor and Liaison Team (OMLT) Peace Support Operation Trainings Center (PSOTC), MNG).

He is a graduate of the honorable class of 72 (“Trust and Inspire”) from Non-Commissioned Officer Center of Excellence, United States Sergeants Major Academy in Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. He holds a Bachelor's (B.A.) degree in Leadership and Workforce Development, presented by the Sergeant Majors Academy on behalf of the United States General Staff College and a Master’s (M.A.) degree in Homeland Security from the New England College, NH.

MSG Reichardt´s awards and decorations include German jump wings, U.S. jump wings, German Master Gunner (H&K 40mm), German Army Expert Marksmanship Badge, U.S. Expert Marksmanship badge, the U.S. Army International Student badge, basic instructor badge, campaign ribbons, good conduct medals and the German Cross of Honor Medal (Bronze).

He is father to three sons and married to the lovely Miss Marit Reichardt, originating from Heide, Hemmingstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
