Law and Philosophy
Dr. Richard Schoonhoven received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he trained in the philosophy of science. These days, he works primarily in military ethics and the Just War Tradition and is currently vice president of the North American chapter of the International Society for Military Ethics. He has been teaching at the United States Military Academy since 2000.
