Bob Mcloughlin served over 20 years on active duty, retiring as a First Sergeant. As a U.S. Army logistician, he served in assignments worldwide. After completing his time in uniform, Bob was selected for the New York City Teaching Fellows program and began teaching in critical-need subject areas. Moving into higher education at the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, he has served as system administrator for the Department of English and Philosophy and the associate director of institutional effectiveness. Bob volunteers as an assistant coach for USMA cadet skeet and trap team.
