Mr. Robert McLoughlin served more than 20 years on active duty, retiring as a first sergeant. As a U.S. Army logistician, he held assignments worldwide. After leaving the military, he was selected for the New York City Teaching Fellows program and began teaching in critical-need subject areas.
At the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, McLoughlin has served as a system administrator for the Department of English and Philosophy, now the Department of English and World Languages, and as associate director of Institutional Effectiveness. He also volunteers as an assistant coach for the USMA cadet skeet and trap team.
