LTC (R) Ron Hasz graduated from USMA in 1995. He served in combat engineer units at the platoon leader, company operations officer, and company commander levels. He earned MS degrees from Missouri University of Science and Technology and the Air Force Institute of Technology. He served as a FA52 nuclear and counterproliferation officer at the USMA Department of Physics, the National Ground Intelligence Center WMD Division, the NATO School WMD Department, the Joint Interagency Task Force – National Capitol Region, and again at USMA Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering. He retired from active duty the summer of 2023. He has 10 years’ experience as the officer in charge of the Cadet Fly Fishing Club and has led the club to a 5-1 record against USNA in Army Navy Flyfishing Competitions.
