LTC Scott B. Harris Instructor Desk Chief English and World Languages scott.harris [at] westpoint.edu About LTC Scott Harris graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Arabic. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry branch in 2007. LTC Harris served with the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, KY, where he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was selected as a Psychological Operations Officer in 2012 where he served with Special Operations Command-Forward in Yemen and detailed as a planner at the State Department Headquarters. In spring 2015, he was selected as a Foreign Area Officer where he served in Muscat, Oman, and at Central Command Headquarters in Tampa, FL. He holds a master’s degree in international policy and practice from the George Washington University (2020). He lives at West Point with his wife Conchita, a labor and delivery nurse, and children Gabriel, Mariam, and Margaret.
