
MAJ Sean Marquis

MAJ Sean Marquis is the Executive Officer for the Department of Military Instruction and currently teaches. MAJ Marquis received his commission through the Army Reserve Officer Training Course at the University of New Hampshire in 2010.
Operationally, he served as a Company Commander in the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, at Fort Drum, NY. Previously he served as a Company Executive Officer and Rifle Platoon Leader in the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
MAJ Marquis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Security Studies from Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies.
He is a graduate of the Maneuver Captains Career Course and the Infantry Officers Basic Course. His military education also includes Ranger School, the Basic Airborne Course, and Modern Army Combatives I and II.
MAJ Marquis’ military awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Valorous Unit Award, Parachutists Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and the Expert Infantryman’s Badge.
