LTC(R) Shaw Yoshitani

LTC(Ret) Shaw Yoshitani is the Personnel Officer (S1) for the Department of Mathematical Sciences and teaches MA206 (Probability and Statistics). As an Engineer officer, he served in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft Liberty, 2nd Infantry Division in the Republic of Korea, and the 555th Engineer Group at Ft Lewis. As an FA49 analyst, Shaw led the analytic effort for the Chief of staff of the Army's wargame while with TRAC-Leavenworth. He was awarded the Ranger tab, Sapper tab, Master Parachutist badge, and Air Assault badge. He received his BS in Mathematics from USMA, MS in Statistics from North Carolina State University, and MBA from Cornell University.
