Ms. Amanda Halloren

Amanda Halloren serves as the Administrative Officer for the Department of Systems Engineering, overseeing administrative operations for both the department and its affiliated centers, including the Operations Research Center (ORCEN) and the Systems Design and Analysis Center (SDAC). In this role, she manages a wide range of critical functions, including civilian personnel actions, department travel, financial management, and general administrative support. She plays a key role in ensuring efficient coordination of resources that support the department’s academic mission and operational requirements.

Ms. Halloren is a U.S. Army veteran whose service includes time as a Flight Medic with the 50th MEDEVAC Company at Fort Campbell, as well as a Parachute Demonstrator with the 101st Airborne Division Command Parachute Demonstration Team (“Screaming Eagles”). During her time with the team, she completed over 450 jumps before sustaining an injury during tryouts for the Golden Knights Team, which led to her transition from active duty. Following her military service, she continued her commitment to public service in several civilian roles, including positions with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a medical accreditation reviewer, with DFAS as a pay reviewer, and with the Defense Contract Audit Agency as an auditor. She later took time to focus on raising her son before returning to federal service.
