CPT(P) Amar Wilkins is an instructor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point.
He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Savannah State University in 2017 and his master's degree from Indiana State University in 2026. His degree concentration was in partial differential equations where his research focused primarily on modeling nonlinear acoustic equations using physics induced neural networks.
CPT(P) Wilkins military assignments included platoon leader for 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade Signal Company and S6 for 10th Brigade Engineer Battalion at Fort Stewart. He deployed to Syria as a Task Force S6 with 1st Squadron 89th Calvary Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in 2023.
