CPT Amber A. Small, Esq.

CPT Amber Small is an assistant professor in the Department of Law & Philosophy at the United States Military Academy (USMA), where she teaches Constitutional and Military Law. She is also a judge advocate in the U.S. Army.

Before joining the faculty, CPT Small served in various legal roles as a judge advocate in the U.S. Army stationed in Fort Drum, NY. Her previous assignments include serving as trial defense counsel, administrative law and national security law attorney for Operation Assure, Deter, and Reinforce, and legal assistance attorney for Fort Drum’s 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry).
