CPT Andressa J. Schulwitz, a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in international business and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps.

Following the Logistics Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, Schulwitz was assigned to Camp Humphreys, South Korea, in November 2017, where she served as a platoon leader for the Distribution Platoon, E Forward Support Company, 4th Battalion, 2nd Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division.

In September 2018, Schulwitz was assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia, where she was selected from among her peers to serve as company executive officer for G Forward Support Company, Task Force 1-28, 3rd Infantry Division, for 16 months. She then served as assistant S4 for 12 months. To conclude her time at Fort Benning, Schulwitz was selected to serve as executive officer for B Company, 14th Combat Support Hospital, 44th Medical Brigade, where she served for six months.

Following the Logistics Captains Career Course, Schulwitz was assigned to the 59th Ordnance Brigade, where she served as company commander for Alpha Company, 832nd Ordnance Battalion, for 24 months. She currently serves as a PL100 instructor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the United States Military Academy.

Schulwitz’s military education includes the Logistics Basic Officer Leadership Course, Logistics Captains Career Course, Equal Opportunity course, Joint Logistics Course and Operational Contract Support course. Her civilian education includes a bachelor’s degree in international business with a concentration in supply chain management from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s degree in psychology from Pepperdine University.

Schulwitz’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.

Schulwitz is married to Chief Petty Officer Todd Schulwitz, who is currently assigned to Navy Talent Acquisition Group New England as a Navy career counselor. They are the parents of two boys.
