MAJ Andrew N. DeFabio

MAJ Andrew DeFabio is an instructor in the American History division in the Department of History & War Studies at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.

He is from Stockton, California, and earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering from USMA. He also earned a Master of Arts in international relations from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in history from San Jose State University. 

MAJ DeFabio is a career Air Defense Artillery officer, and his first assignment was at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. While there, he served as a platoon leader, company executive officer, and Brigade Air Defense Artillery fire control officer. 

After attending Air Defense Captains Career Course, MAJ DeFabio was forward stationed in Baumholder, Germany, with 5-7 ADA Battalion. While there, he served as the assistant S3 and commanded C/5-7 ADA. While in command, he participated in multinational and NATO exercises focused on interoperability and deployment readiness. His most recent assignment was current operations officer at 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
