Armaun Zargari is a research fellow and robotics engineer in the Robotics Research Center at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.

Prior to West Point, he was an undergraduate researcher in the Drones and Autonomous Systems Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Research included cable-driven parallel robots, compliant manipulation, and robot avatar systems. 

Mr. Zargari has experience with the design, maintenance, and fabrication of various sensing payloads and ground robots. His current research includes the verification and validation of mobility envelopes of various unmanned ground vehicles, payload design and fabrication, and often involves first-hand interaction with end-users (soldiers and operators).
