CPT Austin Breed

CPT Breed is an instructor in the Department of Chemical & Biological Science & Engineering, where he currently teaches General Chemistry I.

Breed earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from USMA in 2017 and commissioned as an aviation officer. He served as a CH-47F pilot for nine years with assignments to South Korea, Fort Campbell, Fort Bliss, and two operational deployments to the Europe before attending graduate school. He received his master’s degree from Northeastern University, where his theses focused on continuous vanadium electrolyte production and electrochemical kinetic energy harvesting.
