MAJ Cabot Mack Howell is an instructor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA). He joined the West Point faculty in 2024 as an Army Reserve officer.
He graduated from USMA in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He served as an engineer officer at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Fort Leonard Wood, and Fort Stewart before leaving active duty and joining the U.S. Army Reserve in 2020.
In his civilian career, he is a project manager for a civil and structural engineering firm in Savannah, Georgia, specializing in marine structures and port engineering. He holds a master's degree in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
MAJ Howell is a licensed professional engineer and a Project Management Professional. He lives in South Carolina with his wife and three children.
