MAJ Cabot Mack Howell graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He served as an engineer officer at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Fort Leonard Wood and Fort Stewart before leaving active duty and joining the U.S. Army Reserve in 2020. MAJ Howell joined the West Point faculty in 2024 as a Reserve officer.
In his civilian career, he works as a project manager for a civil and structural engineering firm in Savannah, Georgia, specializing in marine structures and port engineering. He holds a Master of Science in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is completing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida. MAJ Howell is a licensed professional engineer and a Project Management Professional.
He lives in South Carolina with his wife and three children.
