CPT Caitlin Marriner is an instructor in the Department of Systems Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She is a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina. CPT Marriner earned her commission through the United States Military Academy in 2015 and was appointed a second lieutenant in military intelligence with a branch detail to field artillery.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from Northeastern University.

CPT Marriner began her career as a fire support officer, executive officer, and UAS platoon leader in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany. She completed several operational deployments to Poland in support of the NATO alliance from 2016 to 2018.

Following promotion to captain, CPT Marriner transitioned to the Military Intelligence Corps. After graduating from the Captains Career Course at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, she was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas. She served as the battalion S-2 for the 1-7 Field Artillery Battalion and as the MICO commander for Dagger Brigade. While serving in the 1st Infantry Division, CPT Marriner completed an operational deployment to the Republic of Korea.

CPT Marriner is married to CPT Scott Marriner, a fellow 2015 West Point graduate and instructor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership. They have one daughter, Nora.
