MAJ Cesar Liriano is an instructor in the Department of English & World Languages at the United States Military Academy.

A native of the Dominican Republic, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1999 as a parachute rigger and revived his commission as a second lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps through the Green to Gold program in 2010. Previous assignments include deputy chief, Materiel Management Division, 21st Theater Sustainment Command; Brigade S-3 and Brigade SPO, Army Field Support Brigade–EUCOM and company commander, 3-501st Assault Helicopter Battalion.

MAJ Liriano is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College (Escuela Superior de Guerra, Bogotá, Colombia) and the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course. Military awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4 OLC), and Combat Action Badge. 

He holds a bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies and a master's in dual language education from the University of Texas at El Paso.
