A native of the Dominican Republic, MAJ Cesar D. Liriano enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1999 as a Parachute Rigger and revived his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps through the Green to Gold program in 2010. His previous assignments include Deputy Chief, Materiel Management Division, 21st Theater Sustainment Command; Brigade S-3 and Brigade SPO, Army Field Support Brigade–EUCOM and Company Commander, 3-501st Assault Helicopter Battalion.
He is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College (Escuela Superior de Guerra, Bogotá, Colombia) and the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course. His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4 OLC), and Combat Action Badge. He holds a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies and an M.Ed. in Dual Language Education from the University of Texas at El Paso.
