Dr. Charles D. Faint, D.B.A.

Dr. Charles Faint is an assistant professor and managing editor of the Modern War Institute at the United States Military Academy (USMA). He previously taught at USMA's Department of Social Sciences, Simon Center for the Professional Military Ethic, and the Department of Military Instruction.

He served 27 years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. While on active duty, Dr. Faint completed seven combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with the 5th Special Forces Group, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and the Joint Special Operations Command. 

Dr. Faint earned a Doctor of Business Administration from Temple University and a Master of Arts in international relations from Yale University.
