Dr. Charles Randow, Ph.D.

Dr. Charles Randow is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at West Point. He joined the United States Military Academy faculty after working as an engineer with the Army Research Laboratory (ARL).
His primary research at ARL involved computational modeling of terminal effects, with a focus on vehicle protection. Before working for the Army, he worked in the printing and paper industry and taught mechanical engineering courses at Bucknell University.
Dr. Randow has a Bachelor of Science in engineering science and mechanics and a Master of Science in engineering mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a doctorate in engineering science and mechanics from Pennsylvania State.
He enjoys reading, films and playing war games with the Cadet Wargaming Committee.
