Chris Nichols, a former Army fullback, recently completed his sixth season with the United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS) football team. He has served as the offensive coordinator and head strength and conditioning coach for the past four years, coaching all offensive skill positions during his tenure. Nichols has a career 47-9 record at USMAPS. 

He is a graduate of the Class of 2008 at the United States Military Academy, where he earned a degree in civil engineering and branched into engineering. He attended Airborne and Ranger School before serving as a combat engineer platoon leader in Echo Company, 3-69 Armor Battalion, 1st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and during deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Originally from Wolfsville, Maryland, he attended Middletown High School. He resides at West Point with his wife, Stacey.
