CPT Christopher J. Stewart

CPT Chris Stewart is a general chemistry instructor in the Department of Chemical & Biological Science & Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York.

Upon graduating from USMA in 2016 with a bachelor's degree om chemical engineering, he commissioned as an engineer officer. 

CPT Stewart served as a platoon leader and company executive officer with the 4th Engineer Battalion out of Fort Carson, Colorado. He commanded Alpha Company, 41st Brigade Engineer Battalion, 10th Mountain Division out of Fort Drum, New York.

He earned his master's degree in chemical engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2025 before returning to West Point as an instructor.
