CPT(P) Cole Andrekus

CPT Cole Andrekus is an economics instructor at the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy. He graduated from Saint Norbert College in De Pere, WI in 2016. Upon graduation, he was commissioned into the engineer branch of the US Army through the school’s ROTC program.

CPT Andrekus led combat engineers as a platoon leader in the 515th Sapper Company and later served as the Headquarters and Headquarters Company Executive Officer for the 5th Engineer Battalion. After completing Engineer Captains Career Course, he served as an assistant S3. He then commanded the 50th Multi-Role Bridge Company in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He most recently served as an observer-coach/trainer for numerous construction engineer units in the 177th Armored Brigade, First Army Division East located in Camp Shelby, Mississippi. 

He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in mathematics from Saint Norbert College, a master' degree in engineering management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in strategy, finance, and marketing from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. His other credentials include Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and certifications in military construction management and project management. 

He currently lives in Maybrook, NY.
