CPT Connor Parker is a general chemistry instructor in the Department of Chemical & Biological Science & Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA). After earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from USMA in 2017, he commissioned as an air defense artillery officer.
He served as a Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) platoon leader, and Avenger/Stinger battery executive officer with 2-44 Air Defense Artillery at Fort Campbell, with operational deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. He then commanded Alpha Battery, 4-3 Air Defense Artillery (Patriot), Fort Sill, deploying to the USCENTCOM AOR in support of OSS.
He earned his master’s degree in chemistry from Clemson University in 2026 before returning to USMA as an instructor. His thesis focused on eutectic mixtures incorporating energetic and explosive components.
