MAJ Daniel Eerhart is a research scientist at the Army Cyber Institute and the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the United States Military Academy.
He was commissioned as a Distinguished Military Graduate into the Armor branch and then served as a platoon leader, troop executive officer, and squadron logistics officer. As a captain, he applied for, assessed, completed the Psychological Operations Qualification Course, and served within the Army Special Operations Forces community. He commanded a Sensitive Activities Detachment and a Psychological Operations Detachment.
MAJ Eerhart earned his master's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, completed the U.S. Special Operation Command's Cybersecurity Professionals Program and holds numerous professional/graduate certifications in cyber security and data analytics.
He speaks Korean, Dutch, and Spanish.
