Mahoney has completed nine combat deployments and served in the 75th Ranger Regiment for five years. He has been an FA58 since 2020 and currently serves as the functional area’s proponent.Mahoney enjoys writing fiction and rowing, both as a coach at USMA and an oarsman with a local master's program.
