COL Daniel S. Artino

COL Daniel Artino, a 2002 West Point graduate and Master Army Aviator, currently serves as the Brigade Tactical Officer for the United States Corps of Cadets at West Point.

An experienced Aviation officer, COL Artino completed four combat deployments across Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Resolute Support, and Freedom’s Sentinel. His command experience includes serving as an attack-reconnaissance battalion and task force commander in the 1st Armored Division, and as garrison commander at the Presidio of Monterey. He has also served as a congressional fellow, a staff officer at the Army headquarters level, and in key leadership roles at U.S. Transportation Command.

COL Artino holds a bachelor’s degree from West Point and master’s degrees from George Washington University and the National War College. His military decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Medal, and the Combat Action Badge.
